CHARLESTON - MANIA !!!
I have to admit I’m not much motivated to go out and dance, and prefer to throw parties at home, because watching these videos, I see that the dance floors of NY have become quite boring. I surely miss the lore of places like the SAVOY ballroom in Harlem.
I mean, when did people become afraid of dancing and looking a bit like a scarecrow? Not at my last party, where 2 friend literally in full costume put on an entire interpretive chicken dance where they just let loose.
God bless and for now dreams about the Savoy and more parties for letting loose plus trips to watch some vogue-ing queens uptown who keep my hope alive!
