Michelle Violy Harper's musings on all things unique and obstusely or acutely hideously gorgeous.
Art that may offend. Food that may resemble art. Scents that stink of divinity. The really unreal. And of course the much beloved "Fashion Fail"
Because nothing inspiring is flawless or perfect. It's in the failures, the experiments, and the unique that I find the greatest joy.
This is my dream space. Enjoy.

DESIGN ICON: ANDREE PUTMAN
Speaking of art deco, and Jeanne Lanvin, please note the amazing Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann case piece at the rear of the photo of Andree Putman’s apartment that once belonged to and was made for Jeanne Lanvin’s office.
Not only is the room designed by Putman exquisite, the piece chosen as the focal point of the room is one of the most beautiful examples of art deco design, by one of it’s greatest masters, Mr. Rhulmann.
Like Jeanne Lanvin, Andree Putman exhibits exquisite elegance and style, personally and in her design work now and eternally.
One should not be separated from the other, as sophistication comes full circle. From one creator to the next, we now move on to a contemporary artist, Robert Knoke who created the ever striking Andree Putman portrait above.
Great minds are drawn to one another across space and time,
As I said …
FULL CIRCLE
Xx!
