Hamish Bowles, is the European Editor at Large for Vogue. Yet he is so much more than that alone… If you’ve ever been to a wonderful Fashion Exhibit say at the MET or FIT or elsewhere you may want to look at the information on any number of fantastic items, and find that many come from the personal collection of Mr. Bowles. Wonderful exhibitions about Jackie Kennedy, Cristobal Balenciaga, Madame Gres, and Roberto Capucci, all included numerous showstopping pieces from Hamish, as well as his curatorial expertise.
He is not only an amazing collector and contributor to the conservation of Fashion History, he is also an incredible writer having published and contributed to hundreds of articles and important books on the subjects of fashion, art, interiors, and lifestyle.
Beyond his exquisite eye for fashion, in both historical and contemporary contexts, Mr. Bowles personally exhibits a great sense of fearless flair in his personal wardrobe. Each outfit is beautiful and fun. Truly, he never bores, in any way …
